Saturday Sunday June 30th July 1st THE POORE FAMILY HOMESTEAD HISTORIC FARM MUSEUM*** American Mountain Men – Living History at the Poore Farm ***The "Great North Woods Party", the local chapter of the American Mountain Men, will have a Living Historic encampment at the Poore Farm for two days.
See The American Mountain Men, their traditions and way of life. See how our Nation's greatest, most daring explorers and pioneers lived and survived alone in America’s vast wilderness, using only what nature had to offer. Visitors will see firsthand what life was like on the frontier and how the guns of the era work.

View the many displayed artitfacts, meet the directors and volunteers, enjoy the music and some old-world demonstrations
Live Music on the Porch: Bring your instrument and join in the fun.
Period Dressed Re-enactors will be on hand demonstrating Weaving, Spinning and Soap Making, Tanning hides, Casting Pewter Spoons and more. Audience participation is encouraged!
Do not miss this event !

Free Birthday Cake and Lemonade will be served.

Saturday August 11th : THE POORE FAMILY HOMESTEAD AMPHITHEATER*** Poore Music Concert 2017 ***
An Out Door Musical Event
The concerts will show case local talents:

The event is being held at The Poore Homestead’s Amphitheater and Stage venue, just off NH Route 145 in Stewartstown. Watch for signs.
The Museum will also be open throughout the day, allowing guests the chance to view over 180 year’s worth of Poore Family history.
