Annual Open Barn and Celebration, July 2012

The Poore Farm's 18th "Annual Open Barn and Celebration" was held on Sunday, July 1st, 2012
We celebrated our Founder’s (J.C. Kenneth Poore) 127th birthday and the Museum’s 18th year of service to the community and state.

Music was by Harold Boydston, and White Wolf & Friend. Birthday Cake and Lemonade was served.  All were welcome and everyone enjoyed their stay.

The Museum is a significant cultural and historic New Hampshire destination.

The Poore Farm Museum is an historic homestead / settlement documenting one families life from the 1830's to the 1980s. The house, barns and outbuildings are all in authentic condition and reflect their original use and era. The feeling one gets when entering the homestead is to step back in time, to one that existed prior to rural electrification of the northern most regions of NH.
